We Rise by Lifting Others
The Ubuntu Festival Uganda is a celebration of togetherness rooted in the spirit of Ubuntu, “I am because we are.” Set in Kigezi, this weekend will blend adventure, exotic travel, music, art, food, storytelling, and cultural expression into one vibrant experience of connection, shared humanity, and charity.
About the Organizers:
CHARITY
At its heart, the Ubuntu Festival will go beyond music, art, and celebration, to directly support the children of Grace Villa, a 12 year old home, safe space and child development center for at-risk girls in the Kigezi region. Through the funds and awareness raised, you will provide shelter, education, healing, and hope to girls who deserve a future filled with possibility.
COMMUNITY
Ubuntu festival will serve as a platform for community engagement, offering local artists, youth groups, and small businesses an opportunity to network, share best practices, and showcase their talents.
CULTURE
Through music, dance, fashion, food, storytelling, and visual art, the festival invites people of all generations to reconnect with the beauty and depth of the Ugandan identity. By spotlighting homegrown talent, local food, traditional pieces, and contemporary expressions rooted in our values, this festival is a reminder that our culture is not only worthy of celebration but is also a powerful source of unity, healing, and belonging.
